Brooke Harvey takes Home on the road
Mid-North Coast artist Brooke Harvey is taking her debut album on the road – and everyone is invited.
Taking her from The Junkyard at Maitland to The Press in Tamworth, Brooke will play songs from her album, Home, and also new and as yet, unheard, songs.
“These will be my first shows since my album launch shows in November which I performed with Mik McCartin, Benji and Soni Pocock,” she said.
“I had the time of my life playing the songs from my album with these guys and I’m absolutely chomping at the bit to get back out there to bring the album to life again in front of a live audience. As a singer-songwriter, playing live and feeling that connection with an audience is what songwriting is all about.”
Brooke said that these shows would have a more stripped back and intimate feel, with musicians including Mik McCartin (who is also album’s producer), and Duncan Toombs.
“I’ll be talking about some of the stories behind the songs and I will be looking forward to really enjoying that connection with the audience,” she said.
“I hope anyone who listens to the album enjoys it and relates to some of the songs on an emotional level.”
